Terms of Service
Purpose
KeepOrGo is a practical coordination platform for sorting and dividing low-to-medium value everyday belongings between authorized participants. Typical use cases include downsizing, moving house, divorce, estate cleanup, storage cleanup, and family redistribution.
The service is intended as a coordination aid only. High-value assets, legal ownership questions, wills, inheritance matters, legal disputes, and contested claims should be handled through appropriate legal or professional channels.
Free Service / Best Effort
KeepOrGo is currently offered free of charge and on a best-effort basis. The service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without guarantees of uninterrupted availability, suitability, completeness, correctness, or fitness for a particular purpose.
Features, availability, and functionality may change at any time without notice. The service may occasionally be interrupted for maintenance, updates, or technical reasons.
User Responsibilities
- Only participate in workspaces where you are authorized to take part.
- Provide item descriptions, photos, estimated values, and responses honestly.
- Keep login credentials secure and confidential.
- Do not upload unlawful, abusive, misleading, or unrelated content.
- Verify important decisions independently where legal or financial consequences may apply.
Assignments and Decisions
Assignment and selection outcomes are generated according to the configured rules of the workspace and are intended to support practical coordination between participants.
Random assignment features use secure random methods and may record eligible participants and outcomes for transparency and audit purposes.
Assignment outcomes do not constitute legal ownership, inheritance determination, contractual transfer, or legal settlement.
No Legal or Professional Advice
KeepOrGo does not provide legal, tax, inheritance, divorce, mediation, financial, or ownership advice. Information and outcomes generated by the service should not be interpreted as professional advice.
Limitation of Liability
Use of the service is entirely at your own risk. Users should not rely on KeepOrGo as their sole recordkeeping system for legally, financially, or emotionally important information.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, KeepOrGo and its operator shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, financial, emotional, family, legal, or other damages arising from the use of, inability to use, reliance on, or disputes related to the service, including but not limited to disagreements between participants, assignment outcomes, lost data, interrupted availability, or user decisions.
Users remain solely responsible for important decisions, legal compliance, ownership verification, and dispute resolution.
Data and Availability
Reasonable care is taken to protect user data, but no system can be guaranteed completely secure or error-free. Users are encouraged to keep their own records or backups of important information where appropriate.
Service Availability And Termination
KeepOrGo is currently provided free of charge and on a best-effort basis. Continued operation of the service is not guaranteed.
The service operator reserves the right to modify, suspend, discontinue, restrict, or permanently end all or part of the service at any time, with or without notice, including where operational, technical, financial, legal, or personal circumstances reasonably require it.
Where reasonably practical, advance notice may be provided before major service discontinuation. Users are encouraged to maintain their own records or backups of important information.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, KeepOrGo shall not be liable for data loss, interrupted access, or consequences arising from service suspension or termination.
Donations
KeepOrGo may optionally accept voluntary donations to help support hosting, development, maintenance, or continued operation of the service.
Donations are voluntary contributions and do not constitute the purchase of a product, subscription, guaranteed service level, ownership interest, support agreement, or contractual entitlement.
Making a donation does not create any expectation of uninterrupted availability, feature requests, response times, personal support, priority treatment, future development, or continued operation of the service.
Regardless of whether a donation has been made, KeepOrGo continues to be provided on a best-effort and “as available” basis as described in these Terms.
Transfer Of Service
The service operator reserves the right to transfer, sell, assign, restructure, or otherwise transfer ownership or operation of KeepOrGo, including its software, infrastructure, and related assets.
In the event of a transfer of ownership or operation, users may be notified where reasonably appropriate. Continued operation of the service by a successor operator may require continued processing of relevant account and workspace data necessary to provide the service.
Changes to These Terms
These terms may be updated from time to time. Continued use of the service after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
